Elaine is a contemporary mixed media, nature inspired artist. From an early age Elaine has always found solace and inspiration in nature and has been drawn to its beauty and quiet resiliency. She co-creates her work with nature, borrowing ideas and inspiration from its forms and patterns and translating this through paint, print, drawing and collage into detailed layered artworks.

Her works often explore personal themes of fragility, struggle and resiliency and she draws comparisons between her own life and that of the natural environment through the use of her materials and mark making.

Elaine Graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University in the UK in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art.

She has since traveled, worked and made art around the world for a number of years before settling on Vancouver Island in BC, Canada in 2018. She became a farmer on a small scale Organic Farm on the Island for a number of years before some health conditions made this unsustainable. She has since returned back to her passion of making art and is now a full time artist.
